Sounds like a great idea! Half the time our kids don't know what they want
let alone how to go about finding it.
Hot topics here are
teens and gangs
gun control
abortion
drugs
state & country reports
biographical info about modern YA authors
They also ask for books/materials on
how to write reports
where/how to find statistics
Most times I have to step them thru narrowing the topic. They also need to
know how to take the information they find and APPLY it to the topic at
hand. If the information is relevant but not EXACTLY on their topic, they
can't figure out how to use it.
