I am interested in knowing if anyone has developed a partnership between
their library and the multimedia business community. The Glendale Public
Library is working with an networking organization of multimedia business
people who want to donate workstations and cdroms to the library as a
mechanism for the public to preview their products. They would also like
to see the companies present programs in the library which would showcase
their products. I am curious.... Does anyone already have a similar
program? Is it successful? Have you had substantial donations? What is
the public reaction to it? How much control do you have over what
products are available? Thanks for your input...
