Subject: "Public-proofing" Infopeople Workstations
I know this has been covered in many messages over the past year, but only
in a question-and-answer manner. Does someone have a step-by-step
recommendation for how to set up our workstations (the new upgrades/new
sites with Pentium machines running Windows 95) so the casual public member
who "thinks he or she knows about computers and 'it would run better if I
did *this'", can't change our settings? I'd appreciate a private email
message from anyone who's got this setup. Plus, what kind of security
software does anyone recommend, and again, step-by-step, how have they set
it up?
Thanks,
