Subject: Comments please...
Greetings! Nothing like setting myself up for public humiliation; but here
goes. The following are the URLs for the HomeMaker for Libraries pages
that I am STILL working on. The main page is
http://edweb.sdsu.edu/edfirst/libmkr/main.htm. It is going into the
production and programming phase. I am interested in the opinions of any
who care to comment. This is not a final version!! Comments are welcome
on any aspect including spelling. TIA! (Come on Dean and Anne, I'm
counting on you!)
Specifically, I am thinking of including these two pages which will
require no input and are generic pages that libraries could link to.
Please assess the following pages:
Finding Things in the Library : http://edweb.sdsu.edu/edfirst/libmkr/lib.htm
Internet Searching, Hotlists, and Quick References:
http://edweb.sdsu.edu/edfirst/libmkr/search.htm
1. Does this page have value for the library patron/for the library ?
2. Is it generic enough to include on any library website?
3. Does it say what needs to be said?
4. Should they be "customizable" as part of the page-making process, or
just generic and leave the user to customize later?
