I do appreciate Cecil's suggestions, and I have and will take them
into account. For example, we do have Winsock in the path, and
Netscape does call it. I haven't thought to run Memmaker; I'll give
it a try. I have also not yet dealt with an issue which has come up a
couple times in discussions of troubleshooting Netscape problems:
video setup. I'm going to change my display resolution and see if
that repairs the problem.
Thanks for the useful reply.
