FYI, the commercial release of Chameleon does include a full suite of
internet services including a web browser. At Sherman Oaks, we have found
Netscape 2.01 to be the browser of choice and we have had remarkably few
problems with it under Windows 3.11. It does sound like you might be on to
something, however, as far as Dean's Netscape possibly being set to
minimize on open.
