Future Possibilities: Planning Library Space in the 2.0 World

Librarians planning new facilities or renovations are challenged as never before to provide customers with improved user experiences – and with the greatest service from the least square footage. Increasingly, the purpose of any library facility, its services and its collections is to provide an interactive environment for formal, collaborative, and casual library user behavior.

Needs Assessment: Asking Significant Questions

If you:

  • Need to find out what your community really wants from the library
  • Are getting ready to gather data for planning new services or facilities
  • Want to be more responsive to your current users
  • Would like help to define gaps in staff performance
  • Are required to develop a needs statement for an LSTA grant application

Then this Needs Assessment workshop is for you!
