Netlibrary offers the largest selection of e-book titles. They also offer downloadable audio books from Recorded Books including the Pimsleur language series. And they have announced that they will soon be selling downloadable audio from Books on Tape and Blackstone.

OverDrive Digital Library Reserve

OverDrive supports library digital collections with its technology, which was originally developed for retailers. OverDrive has recently expanded the formats offered by adding downloadable music and video in addition to the Adobe and Mobipocket e-books as well as downloadable audio books. The propoprietary OverDrive Media Console allows for downloading audio in CD-length parts and burning to CD where permitted by publishers.

ProQuest Safari Books Online

ProQuest is the library agent for Safari online books on technology and business topics. Safari features O’Reilly technology titles and it is the only source for this valuable e-content.

TumbleBooks

TumbleBooks offers three products: TumbleBookLibrary, talking animated picture stories for grades K-4; TumbleReadables, adjustable font e-books; TumbleTalkingBooks, streaming audio books. All three use Flash technology for streaming, not downloadable, content. The picture stories are the most popular.
