Stacey Aldrich

Stacey Aldrich was appointed by Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger in 2007 to be the Deputy State Librarian of the California State Library, and will serve as Acting State Library beginning February 14. Before coming to California, Stacey had the great opportunity to be the Assistant Director of the Omaha Public Library System. Before Omaha, she was the Deputy State Librarian at the Maryland State Department of Education, where her primary responsibility was to oversee the implementation of statewide projects. While in MD, Stacey played an active role in developing programs, conferences, and discussions to help public libraries generate ideas, conversations, and innovative programming around future thinking.

Stacey has taught 13 classes from 2007 through 2009.
