Joyce Wycoff
Joyce Wycoff founded the InnovationNetwork in 1993 as a way to bring innovation practitioners from around the world together to share ideas, insights and experiences about the developing field of organizational innovation. ThinkSmart Learning Systems is a leader in innovation thought, training, coaching and consulting, helping organizations around the world develop a deep and sustainable competency of innovation.
Joyce is a popular keynote speaker, trainer and facilitator as well as the author of five books focused on creativity and innovation. Two of these books (Mindmapping and To Do, Doing, Done!) have achieved best-selling classic status and have been published in several languages. Her latest book, Innovation Training was just released by the American Society of Training & Development (ASTD). She also writes a weekly electronic column with approximately 15,000 readers and has also written numerous magazine articles.
Wycoff has an extensive background in business, from financial and marketing management to new venture startups. Her leadership style is collaborative and she is passionate about the process of engaging people around an exciting challenge in a way that brings out the best in them and achieves what no one was completely sure could even be done.
She is an advocate of action-learning and has developed and thoroughly tested a unique adult-learning model that is used in all her client work, workshops and keynote speeches. This model focuses on developing a challenge that is meaningful to the audience and then providing simple, powerful tools that guide action toward defined success.
Wycoff, who was recently featured as one of BrainBrew Radio’s "30 Second Guru's" and in the "Who's Fast" series by Fast Company magazine, spent most of her early career in accounting and finance for organizations large and small. She brings a unique blend of solid business acumen and an extensive understanding of the principles and processes of innovation to her speaking, training and consulting.
