Matthew Mattson



Matthew Mattson has worked in the IT side of libraries for 15 years. For the past six years he has been the Photo-Imaging and Database Administrator for the Los Angeles Public Library. One of his main projects is the digitizing and cataloging of the Library's photo archives into a searchable on-line database of more than 40,000 (and growing) images that is accessed over 10,000 times a month. In addition, he also is responsible for the Library's Web site and provides support for all scanning, graphics and imaging software.

Matthew has taught 2 classes from 2003 through 2004.
