Parking
There is a city lot at the rear of the library. The entrance is off Chestnut Street. The row closest to the library has a 3-hour limit; the rest of the lot allows for all-day parking for free.
Eating
There are plenty of restaurants within walking distance. There is no patio at the library, but one block away is a city park and 3 blocks away is the beach, with a promenade and benches.

From the North/East: Take US-101 S. Take the VENTURA AVE exit. Turn RIGHT onto E THOMPSON BLVD. Turn LEFT onto S CALIFORNIA ST. Turn RIGHT onto E MAIN ST.
