Gates Transition Webcast + Audio Conference

Monday, May 5, 2003

As the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation's U.S. Library Program moves toward completion of their technical support commitment in California, they would like to make the transition to supporting Gates grant equipment as easy as possible for California libraries. The Gates technical support for California grantees will end June 7, 2003. After that date, California libraries will no longer have access to telephone technical support from the Foundation.

In order to ease the transition to local technological sustainability, the Gates Foundation staff convened a series of meetings at locations throughout California. If you missed them, this archived webcast will present information geared toward providing support for the Gates computers and public access computing.

Webinars are free of charge and registration is only done on the day of the event on the WebEx server. No passwords are required.
