Firoozeh Dumas, author of the highly-acclaimed novel Funny in Farsi: A Memoir of Growing Up Iranian in America, will be Sunday morning's Master Speaker. In her book Dumas chronicles her family's journey, their pursuit of the American Dream, and the pain and laughter associated with growing up torn between two cultures. In this presentation she will offer a humorous and sometimes painful portrait of the struggles and triumphs associated with one family's American journey.
