More than Letters & Booklists: Intermediate Microsoft Word

More than Letters & Booklists: Intermediate Microsoft Word

Most library staff use Microsoft Word for everyday tasks such as writing reports and letters or preparing simple flyers. Few people - even those who have been using Word for years - take advantage of this software's more sophisticated features. If you have already mastered the basics and would like to learn how to use Word more creatively and effectively, this intermediate course will show you the way.

  • Would you benefit from knowing how to use Microsoft Word for printing envelopes, producing graphical reports, or creating electronic forms?
  • Have you noticed Word menu options like "Macro" and "AutoText" and wondered what they're for?
  • Do you get frustrated when Word doesn't do what you want and wish you were more in command of the software?

This workshop will help students use Microsoft Word to its fullest potential, be less frustrated with some of its features, and create a variety of cutting-edge documents.
