Open Source software and libraries are a natural fit. This webcasts provides useful information to library administrators who may not know what open source software is or who don't consider it a viable alternative in their library. Open source software is an empowering computer philosophy and this webcast will tell you why. Participants will gain a clear understanding of what open source software is and its similarity to librarianship, how open source software is used in libraries and why it is important to consider.
