Diane Mayo is vice president of
Information Partners, Inc., a library
management and technology consulting firm
that specializes in assisting libraries
with planning and implementing a wide
range of technologies, identifying
appropriate staffing levels, and
developing needed competencies to use
technology well in the delivery of
services. She is a professional librarian,
with more than twenty years experience in
the field of library automation, who
speaks frequently on managing technology
and technology-enhanced services in public
libraries.

In addition to her consulting work, Diane
has managed both technical services and
public services operations in multi-branch
public libraries as well as worked for a
vendor of automated library systems. She
is the author of three of PLA'smanagement
